Owners of the Microsoft console can take a pixelated bite out of snack-sized demo right now, ahead of the full game's release on September 26.The demo will hit PlayStation 4 tomorrow with the weekly store update, while publisher FIFA 15 Coins PS3 has also pledged to bring it to Xbox360, PlayStation 3 and PC later at an as-yet-unannounced date; but, given the fact that the full-fat release is only three weeks away, it's unlikely to be a long wait. The demo itself lets up to two players trial with eight club teams, including Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona, Boca Juniors, Napoli and Paris St.
Germain. It also features a FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Coins demo for those who dream of dream teams.Beyond that, they've added minor details to the player models. Players' hair will move in the wind as they run, the pitch will be affected by the football cleats that tread on it throughout the game, even the stadium's fans have been enhanced in a regards to realism.First let’s talk performance. With the frame-rate locked at 60 (unchecking it was just mayhem on my 60hz monitor) there were occasional odd stutters. There’s no reason to suspect that should be happening on my machine (i3-2100 / 8GB RAM / 2GB 7870, for reference) but I do recall this occurring with FUT 15 Coins after either a patch or an AMD driver update.EA Sports has confirmed that the demo is planned to hit PS3, Xbox 360 and PC at some stage too, though we don't yet have a release date for those platforms. Still, with the full release coming on September 26, it's likely to be sooner rather than later.
On a side note, it's not yet known whether the evolving pitch will have any effect on the ball, but it will have visually changed at least. Many more changes, besides those mentioned above, can be expected in the full version of the game.In FIFA 15 Coins PS4, players put together squads by buying packs using either points earned for their performances in the game or real money - these cards can then be traded for one another on a live transfer market, as everyone seeks to raise the frankly extortionate amounts of in-game currency required to have Lionel Messi in their team.
